Information we collect
This blog does not collect any personal information, except what you explicitly provide in forms on the site (like the Contact page).
When you send a message to me (John Pursey) via the Contact page, I will receive the email you provide in the form so that I may respond to you. This is a direct message to me, and so will be retained in my email history. If requested, I will delete all correspondence we’ve had.
If you subscribe to receive blog updates, your email will be stored in the blog’s Mailchimp account until you unsubscribe (which you may do at any time via the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each email). In addition, Mailchimp does collect data when interacting with email and forms it generates. Please see the Mailchimp Privacy for Contacts for more information. If you unsubscribe, I will permanently delete all personally identifiable information in Mailchimp related to this blog.
How we use your information
The information you provide on this site is used to provide you updates to the blog (if you subscribe to it), respond to direct messages, and to improve the blog and/or the Terra Diem game. No information is stored or provided to third-party providers except as required to support the mailing list via Mailchimp and other forms on this blog via Formspree. This blog does not control the privacy policies of these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before you disclose your personal information to them.
Use of cookies
The Terra Diem Blog does not use cookies itself. However, interactions with Mailchimp when subscribing for blog updates and any subsequent actions to manage your subscription may use cookies and are subject to Mailchimp’s Privacy for Contacts.
